ABOUT ON THE EDGE SHARPENING
On The Edge Sharpening is focused on providing high-quality service and customer satisfaction. We will do all we can to meet your expectations. With a variety of offerings to choose from, we’re sure you’ll be happy working with us. Look around our website and if you have any comments or questions, please feel free to contact us. We sharpen scissors, knives, Saw Blades, Planner Blades and clipper blades for dog groomers, hair dressers & barbers. We have also added retail for Zwilling J.A. Henckels knives and products and we carry Oster, Andis and a wide range of shears for both hair dressers and animal groomers.
HOW OUR SERVICES WORK
Your items that you need sharpened can be dropped off at our location in Grande prairie,Alberta. We'll provide a verbal or written quote depending on your preference. Most orders can be completed in about 2- 3 business days. Payments are require for pickup and can be made with either an e-transfer or major credit credit. Please note that some sharpening may take longer than others depending on the type of work required, some items may take longer.

CAN YOU FIX A BROKEN TIP ON MY KNIFE?Yes. We round the tip back down to a point to resharpen the knife.

CAN YOU REPLACE BROKEN TEETH ON MY SAW BLADES?Yes we can. We braze new teeth in and profile it to the same braze as the other teeth.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO GET MY SHARPENING BACK?It varies from time to time, but usually within one or two days. We do try to do same day service.

CAN YOU FIX SCISSORS THAT WILL NOT CLOSE?Yes. If they have a chip in the blades they require working it out on water stones and sharpening.

CAN YOU SHARPEN THE ADJUSTABLE 5-1 BLADES?Yes. Our NEW machine does a great job with these.

CAN YOU SHARPEN PLANER BLADES AND LARGE STRAIGHT BLADES?For sure!. We sharpen these on a large straight knife machine.
